Telling Katherine, 10/10/00: After remaining completely in disguise and telling no one of her true gender for her first two-and-one-half weeks in the castle, Punzel confided in sera Katherine in order to seek her advice about her feelings for ser Martel. (Punzel kissed Martel the following day, and told him of her disguise.)

Poets' Convocation, 10/13/00: Though Her Majesty Queen Vivienne herself was unable to attend, her son, His Highness Sir Bertram, the Fall Prince, did take her place, attended by Sir Alrik and Sir Bragi. The Friends of the Muse organized this event in cooperation with the Poets' Brotherhood. Includes poems by Sera Arrion, Sera Punzel (still in disguise at that time), Sera Elea, Ser Iuri, Ser Pikewaddle, Watchman Philo, and Ser Rhian. Unfortunately, after the recitations were finished, all poets drank cursed wine and had their voices transformed into croakings. Ser Martel and sera Gwen did save the day.

Talking with ser Artegal, 10/15/00?: Ser Artegal (later to become Armsman Artegal, and Punzel's brother-in-law) happened upon Punzel in the hayloft, where she was weeping (after seeing Martel with Anastacia in the Refectory), and they had their first real conversation.

Advice from Martel, 10/19/00: A conversation between Punzel and Martel, in which Martel did obliquely advise Punzel about what she should do to have a chance to win his heart.

Talking with sera Anastacia, 11/8/00: Sera Anastacia talked in the pantry about past events between herself, Philo, and Martel. Punzel didn't buy it.
Punzel's Duel against ser Starke, 12/20/00: A duel of honor (over ser Starke's claims that Punzel could not conduct herself honorably in a duel), in which Punzel was defeated and wounded.

Knight's Quest: Strength Challenge, 1/5/01: Ser Martel, sera Catharsis, and Armsman Philo competed in this first challenge of the Knighthood Quest, with sera Catharsis being declared the winner.

Knight's Quest: Morality Challenge, 1/19/01: Ser Martel, sera Catharsis, and Armsman Philo competed in this second challenge of the Knighthood Quest, with Armsman Philo being declared the winner.

Talking with Armsman Philo, 1/20/01: Punzel and Armsman Philo talk about Punzel's upcoming induction into the Duelists' Circle, and its potential effects on their friendship.

Punzel's Triad Induction, 1/24/01: After months of effort, Punzel was at long last inducted into the Duelists' Circle, along with her oath-siblings Seeker Duraze and sera Edanya.

A Tale of Castle History, 1/25/01: Seeker Duraze publicly presented this story about eight powerful rings created by an evil Lord Chamberlain in Castle Marrach's distant past.

Knight's Quest: The Decision of the Court of Honor, 2/8/01: The Court of Honor decided the results of the Knighthood Quest, with the result that only sera Catharsis accepted the honor, as both Armsman Philo and ser Martel declined for honorable and pressing reasons. Afterward, the Duelists dissolved Martel's triad and relieved Arrion and Brahm of their oaths.

Martel's Proposal to Punzel, 2/15/01: After five months of knowing each other and four months of courting, Punzel and Martel became betrothed.

Robert and Morte's Aborted Duel, 6/8/01: Ser Morbidro fails to arrive for his duel to the death against ser Morte. His second, Robert, steps forward but then declines at the last moment, leaving his primary in forfeiture. Much discussion of honor ensues.
