"Dedication"

My verses all are written for Your Grace
In hopes to bring joy to Your pale blue eyes.
My inspiration is Your lovely face,
And also Your kind words, so calm and wise.
To kneel at the foot of Your velvet gown,
To meet the needs of one so nobly royal,
To live a life in service to Your crown
Would greatly honor one whose heart is loyal.
In this, Your land of sparkling winter snow,
I offer to You effort, trust, and love,
For 'tis the goal of those of us below
To honor You, enthroned so high above.
Thus these, my verses -- humble poet's vision --
I offer to You, Our Most Gracious Sovereign.
