"A New Knight"
The Winter Ball saw three urged to a quest:
A chance to earn great honor, be a knight!
Three challenges demand of them their best,
To show they're worthy to defend what's right.
Intelligence and strength, morality ...
All three of these the candidates did prove.
The Court of Honor, for Her Majesty,
Decided that all three had shown their love.
But honor also asks a painful price --
Philo chose duty, Martel kept an oath.
Two made with honor a great sacrifice:
The knighthood which was dream unto them both.
Catharsis now becomes what many yearn
To be, and what all three of them did earn.
